The House of Reception is born in 1999 after the restructuring of the ex House of the Daughters of the Charity of St. Vincent De Paul, historical place in the city of the reception of the various poverties.

By now The House is considered her/it as the natural place for the constant exercise of the charity in the City.
It is a point of important reference both for the one who has need and for the one who wants to help, it is against the poverty of every day.
The poverty in our city has a face a name,:
people that have to wash him, to take care himself/herself/themselves, to eat, to learn, to defend himself/herself/themselves….
We are in the first row in to offer to the migrant ones, to the poor men and the outcasts a vast range of interventions on the plan of the welfare and the human promotion of the respect of the norms, of the rights but also of his/her own duties.
The great number of immigrated people and you marginalize that daily they ask help and support to the House of Reception "S. Maria Goretti" some Diocese of Andria shows as such Service of Charity both how much never urgent and necessary.
The House of Reception "Saint Maria Goretti" managed from the office Migrantes strongly wanted by our Bishop Mons.
Raffaele Calabro, in a city context in which the immigration and the social uneasiness are a reality for which he could not delay anymore or to be indifferent of it, is a splendid example of Christian solidarity toward immigrated people and marginalized.
It is our I spell, and also our "boast", to deal us with the "last, according to think human, but first in the consideration and love of God", performs that we would like pits more and more shared by everybody.
